Google has a number of blogs, but surprisingly not one that’s 100% related to search insights. This is no longer the case however with the recent launch of the Google Inside Search blog. Before this, search related articles ended up on either the Official Google Blog or the more technical aspects on the Webmaster Central Blog. In the old days, Google was all about search, so as you can imagine the Official Google Blog would have been sufficient. As they continue to roll out new products and innovations to the market however, Google has become much more than just a search engine, hence the need to separate the search category.
No doubt, there’s plenty of exciting and game-changing moves ahead, so we look forward to some more specific search updates and insights from the team at Google.
