THE CLIENT

Clear Dog Treats is an online retailer specialising in dog treats that are healthy and all-natural (no preservatives or additives). They work with us across Paid Media, SEO, and Design. Do we love working with a dog treats company? You bet we do!

THE OBJECTIVES

The client wanted to advertise successfully on both Facebook and Google AdWords. However, they didn’t have a dedicated or experienced resource to handle this part of the business. This made it difficult to:

  • Increase social engagement
  • Maximise revenue from AdWords
  • Optimise Facebook ROI
  • Decrease Facebook CPA.

So while their ROI on AdWords and Facebook was already strong, it was our objective to drive it higher.

THE STRATEGY

We took over the client’s search marketing, which allowed us to optimise campaigns including:

  • AdWords
  • A Google Shopping campaign
  • Display remarketing.

For social, we designed quirky ads for the client’s campaigns, as well as setting up dynamic product ads and carousel images on Facebook. By using these tactics, we drove high performance and increased sales at a low cost.

THE RESULTS

We saw phenomenal results over 6 months using these tactics, with highlights including:

  • A massive 915% ROI on Facebook
  • A 121% uplift in revenue via AdWords.

Our CPA on Facebook was 70-75% below the target we had set as well. (This means we were paying 70-75% less per acquisition than planned, so the client saw great returns from a smaller-than-expected cost.)

Our success led to a greater investment in our paid media services. This has continued into a long and successful working relationship between Clear Dog Treats and Search Factory.
